Dr Dietmar Buchholz has been a lawyer at Weiland Rechtsanwälte since 2017.
He advises on matters pertaining to commercial and corporate law, construction law and the laws governing contracts for work and services, as well as on company restructuring and succession planning.

Dr Buchholz studied law at the University of Hamburg, gaining a PhD in 1994.
He is Chairman of the Board at the Billbrookkreis e.V. foundation and a lecturer at the vocational school Berufsakademie des Handwerks, where he regularly gives seminars on company and insolvency law, association law, management liability and data protection law. He is also co-author of the manual Die AG - Rechte und Pflichten von Vorstands und Aufsichtsrat in der Praxis (Public Limited Companies - A Practical Guide to the Rights and Duties of the Management Board and Supervisory Board). Dr Buchholz also publishes articles on insolvency and corporate law in the German-Polish law journal DPJZ (Deutsch-Polnische-Juristenzeitschrift) and lectures on the liability of management and supervisory boards in times of compliance.
