Dr Gerd Gustav Weiland is a founding member and senior partner. He is particularly active in the fields of strategy consulting, asset management, company succession and company restructuring. Dr Weiland studied in Hamburg, Munich and Paris. He completed his PhD in Hamburg on the regulatory competences of the Central Bank of the Federal Republic of Germany.

He was a member of Hamburg's Bürgerschaft (state parliament) for 25 years, where he also served as the chairman of the budget committee for decades. He was also a member of the Judicial Election Committee of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Dr Gerd Weiland has been, and still is, a member of several supervisory boards of joint stock companies and other large companies.

As an insolvency administrator specialised in retaining jobs, he has years of managerial experience in an operative capacity.

He is a member of the bar associations in Hamburg and Paris. He is also a partner in our Paris office.
